I'm Robin Mayer (they/she), a licensed mental health counselor specializing in complex trauma and dissociative disorders. I founded Mindspring Counseling in 2020 with a focus on serving the LGBTQIA+ community, with particular dedication to gender-expansive individuals — a population I remain deeply passionate about supporting.

As someone who navigates life as a system, I recognized early on that quality counseling for dissociative disorders is vastly underserved. This lived experience drives my specialization in working with systems, and fuels my ongoing commitment to closing that gap in accessible, informed care.

I hold a BA in Psychology from Western Washington University and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University. I live in Birch Bay, WA with my partner and our dogs.
